Where the Wild Things are… Disappointing

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

The wild things were cool, but the story was pointless. They got too artsy with it; there was no purpose, no meaning, no lesson learned, nothing to take away. The story just didn’t resolve, or connect, or mature into anything. It was a 2 hour display of human negativity.

The emotions of the creatures and max were to complicated, mixed, and obscure for a child to get let alone an adult.

The movie was very depressing and treated emotions like they were a depressing part of life that you just had to put up with. And the movie focused almost completely on the negative emotions. Very little was positive and if there was something positive iit was short lived because something negative would always come wipe it away.

It was very disappointing watching this film. I expected something better, something simpler for a book that was a big part of my childhood.

Don’t take your kids they will be bored to death watching this film.

Pear Web California Twitter Revival

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

So I have recently started playing with Twitter again. I signed up for an account long ago but never made anything of it. I have been waiting to find a decent use for it before I started investing any real time into it.

Well, I’ve found a use. And now Twitter has jump started me into a whole new realm of prospects and potential. Maybe not in the ways I would have initially thought but its definitely been eye opening.

I am still trying to find Twitters real value. And its not been easy sifting through the mounds of tweeting garbage being posted everyday. But I am certain that if I keep mining through the data we will eventually find a few nuggets of wisdom and value.

Follow me on twitter and lets see what we can find.
